About

Michael A. Ventrella is a lawyer, writer, and wiseass.

Michael graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University cum laude with a BA in Political Science.  He got his law degree from New England Law in Boston.17155430_10155992854773306_7733177548495306975_n

He’s worked on many political campaigns, including being the campaign manager for a state representative in Boston in 1986.  He served a year as President of the Massachusetts chapter of Americans for Democratic Action in the early 90s.  He’s taught Constitutional Law at Bunker Hill Community College in Massachusetts and Northampton Community College in Pennsylvania.

In his legal practice, he handles all the criminal defense cases in the Poconos’ #1 rated law firm, Fisher and Fisher.

His book “How to Argue the Constitution with a Conservative” is due in August 2019 from Gray Rabbit Publications, with illustrations by Pulitzer-Prize winning editorial cartoonist Darrin Bell.

He writes novels, plays music, and spends too much time with computer games when he should be working. He lives in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania with award-winning artist Heidi Hooper, his wife of 36 years. They love the pitter patter of little feet around the house (they have five cats — McGonigal, Mrs. Premise, Mrs. Conclusion, River, and “The Doctor”).

Despite all this, he is apparently best known for predicting a plot twist on “Game of Thrones.”
