Mike, I think you are just being willfully ignorant of history. If you look at Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, they all have one thing in common…..they took very credible amateur photographs of Bigfoot.

Yeah, because Feinstein wasn’t asking for an assault weapons ban. Nor are there politicians in various states asking for entire firearms/weapons bans. Just because they aren’t passing nor being taken seriously doesn’t mean that there aren’t politicians trying to get these kind of things past.

Even Feinstein didn’t advocate taking everyone’s last gun. Certainly there are people who want to take SOME guns, but there’s not one who says “Let’s take everyone’s guns, even hunting rifles.”

#1 doesn’t exist in the same way a man who has repeatedly threatened to stab your children to death is not a murderer. No, he’s not, but it would a bit optimistic to act as though you have nothing to worry about.

Also, no one, as far as I know, advocates take every firearm from everyone. They always exclude their own private security and anyone in the employ of the government. I miss the days when people who distrusted The Man were considered “left”.
