Pretty much sums up a lot about the difference between the two parties. Republicans have not had a statesman as President since Dwight Eisenhower. Shrubby is just an extreme example of how low they have come. Nixon certainly did a lot and wasn’t Bush stupid, but his mental issues negated all the good he did. The rest all faded into the woodwork after they committed as much damage as possible to the country and the world.
